Attractors, the logistic map and Lyapunov-Exponents
Dynamical systems offer a wide range of behaviors, with some showcasing intriguing characteristics that are worth investigating. Examples of such systems include the Van der Pol oscillator and the Lorenz attractor. However, it is also important to analyze simpler structures like the logistic map in order to gain a deeper understanding. Lastly, this article briefly touches upon the concept of Lyapunov exponents, which measure the sensitivity to initial conditions and provide insights into system predictability.
