I’m Tobi, currently studying Computer Science at ETH Zürich and working as a teaching assistant in discrete mathematics (for weekly summaries visit discmath.ch). My interests are all over the place. I like scientific computing, algorithms, theoretical computer science and I always felt the urge to study physics - lately especially quantum mechanics and quantum information theory.
In addition, I enjoy discussing politics, exploring various aspects of human reasoning, game theory, and generally love the process of learning something new, whatever the field.

Cause I don’t know what to put here… these are some of my favorite quotes:

“All of humanity’s problems stem from people’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”
~ Blaise Pascal

“If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.”
~ Albert Einstein

I used to have a few blog articles on this site, but I don’t really like them anymore :/. Now, I have a dozen drafts and countless ideas, but never quite enough time to finish anything to a level I’m happy with.
